This reusable cap is fully lined with soft Silipos polymer gel (similar to Chiroform Gel), which contains a medical-grade mineral oil. The elasticated sleeve conforms gently to the shape of the toe, cushioning it from pressure and friction on all sides — including the tip — making it ideal for both protection and comfort.

The gel is non-compressible and designed to dissipate pressure, absorb shear forces, and help prevent further irritation. Unlike conventional foams, Silipos gel maintains its structure under load, moulding to the toe for consistent, durable protection.

As the mineral oil is slowly released, it helps to soften and lubricate the skin, easing painful corns and calluses and improving flexibility. The material conforms to irregular surfaces, making it equally suitable for protecting fingers if required.

Care instructions: Rinse under cold water without soap and air dry naturally. Avoid heat sources such as radiators, as these may dry out the mineral oil within the gel and reduce effectiveness. Remove at night to allow the skin to breathe. Do not use on open wounds due to the mineral oil content.

Usage tips: Each toe cap is supplied in a length suitable for one long toe. For smaller toes, it can be trimmed into one cap and one strip. Compared with conventional foam toe protectors, Silipos gel caps and strips maintain their cushioning properties longer and provide more reliable protection.
